Payments, Refunds and Penalties
1. Spanish program reservation
Students must pay a $50 US reservation fee through PayPal to the account of Eugenio Cortés (eugenio_cortes@hotmail.com), which is an administrative fee to begin your Spanish program organization. Upon paying for the rest of the course, those $50 US will be discounted from your balance.
The rest of the payment must be made within the first three days of the first week of the program.
2. Payment options
Payments can be made in cash: pesos, US dollars, personal checks from any US bank, or through PayPal (eugenio_cortes@hotmail.com). Sorry, no credit or debit cards.
If payment is in pesos, the exchange will be displayed in the administration office (according to banking information).
3. Cancellations
If a cancellation is made within 10 business days before the start date, the reservation fee will be retained as a penalty and will not be refunded.
Classes
1. Schedule
Classes usually start at 10:00 AM, but we can arrange to start at 9:00 AM. We will check on teachers’ availability. Any changes regarding the schedule will be sorted out with the administration.
2. Group classes require a minimum of two students and a maximum of six.
3. Students can request to switch programs, from group to private or vice versa, according to the school schedule and teachers’ availability; class fees will be adjusted.
4. Missing class
If a student misses a private class due to illness, please notify the school’s coordinator through WhatsApp by 8:00 am at the latest the day of attendance; in that case, classes will be rescheduled. If the school is notified later, classes for that day will be charged.
If a student misses up to 2 days of group class, these will not be rescheduled. For three or more days of missed group classes, rescheduling has to be sorted out with the school’s administration.
If a student takes a trip during weekdays and misses class, it will not be reimbursed nor rescheduled.
Lodging
1. Students in homestay will be treated as a member of the family. They are entitled to three meals a day, a private bedroom, private or shared bathroom (according to the household), as well as clean bed linen once a week (for laundry, students need to go to a laundromat).
2. Lodging must be paid from the starting date to the leaving date, even if students take a weekend trip.
3. To book an apartment, a $100 USD non-refundable deposit through PayPal is needed in the name of Eugenio Cortes.

Apartments are completely furnished with wifi. Cleaning and changing of linens is done once a week. Laundromat facilities are not found within the building.
We would appreciate it if you cancel you could let us know two weeks before to the arrival date.
