Museums
Besides the numerous churches and palaces, Morelia offers a number of museums housing pre-Hispanic and colonial arts and treasures. Here you can learn about many aspects of historic and modern life in Michoacán, including clothing, handcrafts, and agriculture.

Museo Regional
Open from 9am Tuesday to Sunday, this museum is housed in the baroque palace of Isidro Huarte. It offers pre-Hispanic and colonial arts and relics, contemporary paintings, and exhibitions on the geology and fauna of the region.

Casa Natal
The birthpalce of Morelos. Two rooms filled with memorabilia of one of Mexicos most famous sons. There is also a library, auditorium, and film room occupying the rest of the house. The museum also hosts international film and cultural events.
